To suit your photo and documenting printing needs, Canon has launched the new affordable Canon PIXMA iP4300 Photo Printer and PIXMA MP510 Photo All-In-One models. These offer helpful features like individual ink tanks with the smart LED system (to warn the user of low ink level and troubleshoot issues) and advanced paper handling capabilities. The PIXMA iP4300 printer comes at a modest price of estimated list price of $99.99 and the PIXMA MP510 at an estimated list price of $149.99. The former gives the consumer long-lasting professional quality photos, and the latter offers the user multi-functional features that include photo printing, copying and scanning facilities. The printers feature the ChromaLife100 system including the FINE print head technology, when used with genuine Canon photo papers and inks and the prints can resist fading for up to 100 years when stored in an archival quality photo album.

The PIXMA iP4300 photo single function printer is a grade higher than the award-winning PIXMA iP4200 model but with the same simplicity of the older model. It promises great usability, reliability and performance. It features:
|
- Four dye-based ink tanks, plus a pigment black ink tank, which produce sharp text and professional-grade documents
- Suitable for printing web pages, text documents and presentations
- The user can directly connect any PictBridge enabled digital camera or DV camcorder with its front panel PictBridge port
- Prints lab quality photos, due to the Canon FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology with 3,584 precision nozzles that produce a dazzling 9600 x 2400-color dpi maximum resolution, with droplets as small as one picoliter
- Prints professional quality borderless 4 x 6 inch photos in just 36 seconds. Print speeds can reach up to 30 ppm for a black and white term paper or up to 24 ppm for a full color presentation. The printer also has paper-saving facility with Auto-Duplexing, which can print on both sides of a sheet of paper.

| The PIXMA MP510 Photo All-In-One (AIO) offers space-saving multi-function features of copying, scanning and printing high quality photo prints. It has: |
- Sophisticated design with rounded corners
- Its 1.9-inch color LCD display, folds down to form a flush surface
- Two built-in paper trays increase paper capacity and/or house a variety of paper to suit printing needs
- Users can also find card slots on the front of the machine for direct photo printing from supported memory cards, or a PictBridge port for compatible digital cameras or DV camcorders
- Yields a borderless 4 x 6 inch photo in just 47 seconds
- Minimum two-picoliter droplet print head design
- Resolution maximum of 4800 x 1200 color dpi
- Supports the new 8 x 10 inch sized Canon Photo Paper Pro and Semi-Gloss specialty papers, being introduced this Fall
- Copy and scan features increase overall productivity
- Canon's Z-lid feature facilitates scanning of bulk objects like personal notebooks, by lifting vertically and laying flat, improving overall scan quality
- Employs advanced copy technology to help give the user great reproductions of original images and documents
- Dual Color Gamut Processing Technology improves color accuracy by independently controlling brightness, hue, and other elements to ensure that there are minimal differences between the original and the copy
- Features Text and Image Separation Technology whereby the system can actually differentiate text from an image, making black text and fine lines dark and sharp when printed with pigment black ink. When black text appears over an image, the text on the following generations of copies can be virtually as clear as the first. These technologies plus hardware improvements in scanning and printing can help make a copy almost indistinguishable from the original.
